![]() ![]() Sending out a Pokemon that has an elemental weakness to its attacks would probably be suicide. It will be holding a Life Orb, which increases its attack power while chipping off its own HP each turn. Ghetsis' final Pokemon, Hydreigon is a very powerful Dark / Dragon Pokemon. Psychic attacks should be used against Toxicroak since both of its attributes are weak towards those attacks. Grass attacks work best against Seismitoad since its dual attributes are both weak to grass making grass attacks 4 times as effective. Use a ground type on Elektross since it knows Flamethrower which greatly damages grass types. Drapion is a Poison type, which is weak to Psychic types, but its Dark type makes it immune to Psychic type attacks. Play to each Pokemon's weaknesses, and don't forget about immunity. Do not use Pokemon who are weak to their attacks, or else they may be taken out within a turn or two. The other five Pokemon are mainly attackers. Use a Pokemon that will do enough damage, or it will stall you and heal its own HP each turn with Leftovers. Attack with Dark or Ghost type attacks to take it out quickly. Using a Steel or Poison type Pokemon will prevent it from being Poisoned. This Pokemon has high Defense and Special Defenses, and two of its moves are meant to Badly Poison you and protect itself from your attacks. The first Pokemon Ghetis uses is Cofagrigus. He will have a full team of fully evolved Pokemon with well balanced move sets. Ghetsis may very well be the toughest trainer you have faced thus far. Defeat it using Dragon or Fire Type attacks, and face Ghetsis. Unfortunately, you won't be able to capture it at this time. ![]() After the scene, fight White Kyurem or Black Kyurem, depending on which version of the game you're playing. A long scene will play out (No Spoilers). Enter the small room in the back of the cave. The Pokemon in this cave are the same as the Pokemon in the cave from earlier. From there, head to the cave in the North. Slide down the mountain to the East until you reach the grass. The two factions of Team Plasma will be at the entrance, join your rival to fight them off.Īfter clearing out the Frigate, you will exit out to the South side of the ice mountain. The first time you visit, there will be a giant ice mountain in the middle of the crater. The crater is the forested area in the middle of Giant Chasm. Before entering Route 13 activate the Dowsing Machine to find a Max Potion hidden in the tall grass to the West. A hidden Moon Stone can be found on the half-bridge further North. A Yellow Shard can be found up the stairs to the East. You will need a Pokemon with Strength to push the boulder to the West to reach Lacunosa Town in the West. This small area connects to Route 13 in the South. Push the boulder into the hole to the right and grab the Max Repel behind it. Investigate the rock to find a hidden Star Piece.Ĭontinue going West until you find another boulder. Before going to either exit, explore the rest of the cave.Ī short distance West of the exits is a lone rock down a small set of stairs. The exit on the South wall leads out to the grassy area which connects to Route 13. The exit down a set of stairs on the North wall leads out to the forested crater area. There are three possible paths to reach the Western area, but all paths are short and have no items. Surf North to find TM13 - Ice Beam.Ĭontinue South West into the cave. To the North is a long, narrow body of water. Push the boulder with a Pokemon that knows Strength. If you haven't been to Route 21 and Seaside Cave, you won't be able to continue into the cave.įrom the entrance, head South until you reach a boulder on the left. Make sure to bring a Pokemon that knows Strength and Surf to fully explore the area. The cave part of Giant Chasm is structured like a giant connected square, the entrance being at the North East corner. The dust clouds in Giant Chasm's Cave are either Gems or wild Excadrill. ![]()
